PhD program in Business Administration – Management specialization
As part of the Skema Observatory on Gender Diversity in Business[1], a 4-year scholarship (+ financial support for conference presentations) is offered for a student wishing to carry out a doctoral thesis in management in the field of gender studies and more particularly on the link between diversity and financial and non-financial performances (or ESG) of companies.
The scholarship is open to students with a master’s degree in management, sociology or economics. The candidate can be in Paris and will be associated to the development of the Skema Observatory on Gender Diversity in Business. During the first year, the PhD classes take place in Sophia-Antipolis (close to Nice).
The thesis will be carried out under the supervision of Michel Ferrary (Professor at Skema Business School and at the University of Geneva).
The program is designed to provide Ph.D. candidates with a solid education in areas needed to carry out cutting-edge theoretical and empirical research. All the courses and seminars are held in English. Successful graduates will receive a Ph.D. degree from SKEMA Business School and a French state doctoral degree from the Université Côte d'Azur (UCA).
Our faculty members are top-notch scholars of the international research community and publish regularly in top-tier academic journals. The main research areas of our faculty are Strategy, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Organization, Sustainability, and AI for business.
